The Chianti Classico is one of the most popular landscapes in the world and at the same time the most famous Italian wine-growing region. The hills between Florence and Siena are the natural home of red grapes, especially Sangiovese, but also Canaiolo, Colorino, Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The symbol that unites all these varieties is the "Gallo Nero", the black rooster on the neck of the Chianti Classico bottles.
